Shout out to one of my FAVORITE wedding venues in the Bay Area: 🤍✨

Built in 1912 and nestled in the Saratoga Hills, this Mediterranean estate is a National Historic Landmark and it shows. Giving obtainable luxury in the most timeless way.

And for wedding photographers, this place is pure magic. So many perfect corners throughout the property means a new backdrop for every moment of the day. First look down in the redwoods, ceremony in the Oval Garden, couples portraits in the Love Temple, cocktail hour in the Spanish Courtyard, and dinner on the front Veranda.

Mistakes I made when…

…I first started in the wedding industry. Truth be told, I actually started as a fashion photographer in LA. What I should have done was incorporate my fashion background more into my weddings when I first started out. A few years ago, I started taking more chances and playing around with poses. Let’s be honest, 90% of my clients are not models and tend to feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. What I needed to do was gain the confidence in myself to direct them with a more editorial style of creating content. The more and more I practiced, the better my direction was for my clients, and I am LOVING the outcome! My advice to all of you other photographers is be bold and take chances! You’ll never know unless you try‼️
