Exciting news over here...OUR NEW WEBSITE AND REBRAND IS LIVE! 🥂✨ the past three months we have worked with the most amazing creatives to make this launch happen. Choosing was a match made in heaven, they made designing our website so simple and quick! Our copywriter knocked it out of the PARK! designed our new logo, and captured our vision perfectly. A huge thank you to for taking our branding photos, she made us feel so relaxed being in front of the camera and her film photos made us swoon! Our new branding captures the essence of the experience Jonathan and I provide for each one of our couples.

At a time like this, home really is everything. This short film was our last project of 2019, and it left us feeling like we had ended the year on such a high note creatively. Filming this branding video with Jill Sheldon and her incredibly sweet kids around Carmel was an amazing highlight of last year, but now we realize how important this message is now more than ever. Home really is at the heart of what we need to be focusing on. Whether “home” is your immediate family that you’re in quarantine with or a whole extended community that you’re staying connected with online, the current events should be a wake up call for everyone that life’s distractions are not the priority. Home truly is everything ❤️

Finally sharing the intimate elopement of Katherine + Steven. If anyone is thinking of eloping in Yosemite, late September was the perfect month. The weather was warm and there weren't many tourists, and alll the glorious light was shining everywhere. Can you spot the bear in the first minute of this film?

Hello!!! We are Jon and Jess, the duo behind Hugo Film Co. We don’t show our faces around here often, since we definitely prefer to be behind the camera! Here are a few fun facts about us:

1. We are high school sweethearts and have known each other since we were born (even delivered by the same doctor 😂) !
2. Filming weddings has been our passion for the past two years, and I (Jess) definitely have cried at every single wedding we’ve ever filmed.
3. We are both from families with 7 children 😱
4. Jonathan is a coffee addict (like 3-4 cups a day kind of addict)
5. Our favorite place to go on a date is the fire pits at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach (raise your hand if this is your favorite spot too!)
