The past few years have brought about profound changes in my life, shifting my focus and priorities in unexpected ways. The global upheaval of Covid-19, my father’s illness, guiding my daughter through the exciting yet demanding journey into college, and embracing the new beginnings of a relationship all required my energy and attention. In the midst of these challenges and transitions, my passion for photography quietly moved to the background, making space for the responsibilities and emotions that filled each day.

Eileen and I are spending the long holiday weekend in the north woods of Wisconsin. We are also in a new moon which can only mean one thing...night photography time. I captured a spectacular shot of our Milky Way. What an amazing view.

In 2019 I photographed a wedding in which the groom had gone in to full cardiac arrest during the ceremony. Shortly after that the World was put in to lock down by the pandemic. Needless to say my camera has been gathering dust since then with the exception of a few photos I have take here and there.

I think it is time to get out there again and help people record those special moments.
