CARROLL DMACC NURSING CLASS OF 2026 SNEAK PEEKS 🩺🏥💉❤️

During the session, it was so clear they are already made for the nursing field - caring, compassionate, and constantly looking out for each other. They even made sure I didn’t fall off steps or step into holes in the grass the whole time!

Such a fun group to work with and an even better reminder of the kind of people going into this profession. Thank you for the opportunity!

Last night, I was honored to receive the Outstanding Service Award from the Carroll Area FFA Chapter at their banquet. As an alum, I know firsthand how much FFA shapes leaders, builds confidence, and inspires a lifelong commitment to service.

Over the past few years, through Open Fields Media, I’ve had the privilege of capturing fair photos, banquet moments, and officer portraits while building my portfolio and learning alongside the members. Giving back to the chapter that shaped me and growing as a photographer alongside these incredible students has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my journey.

A huge thank you to the Carroll Area FFA Chapter for this recognition and for allowing me to be a small part of your story.

A year and a half ago, I met Hannah while taking a livestock judging course - countless market and breeding classes, point cuts, and miles. Somewhere in the middle of all that, she became a friend who’s truly near and dear to my heart.

Whenever I had a question about cattle, she was the first person I turned to - patient, sharp, and always willing to lend a hand. Editing her album brought tears to my eyes, simply grateful she’s in my corner.

Congrats, Hannah! And as always… roll clones!

As a student in Ames, Ledges State Park is my favorite escape when I need a break from the busy days. As a photographer, it’s one of those spots that never fails to deliver - perfect light, natural textures, and a calm that reminds me why I love what I do.

Last night couldn’t have been more ideal for a session - warm golden light, a cool breeze, and the prettiest tones peeking through the trees. Ledges always finds a way to show off when the timing is just right.
