I wish someone would've told me how cute I was! I was not a dress and makeup kind of girl. I liked shorts and a t-shirt (what's changed) and I wanted to be sweaty and dirty (that has changed).

I got called tomboy a lot, which made me feel like maybe I wasn't as cute as the other girls my age who wanted to play dolls or do each other's hair.

What do you wish you had heard more often? Drop it in the comments- and let's remember that we can help our tweens Rise Up and see themselves just how we do!
