It’s 105 degrees this week, I’m reminiscing on Anna and Colton’s winter wedding (you guys see that incredible cape??)
They had such a beautiful day getting married at their church and celebrating with family and friends!
I was recently asked how a church wedding I was documenting ‘compared’ to a ‘big venue’ wedding. It was a first for me, I really don’t compare where people get married, but you know what, I do notice the days where you can just *tell* how the couple loves each other. Where their closest best friends are the ones helping them get ready, the parents are teary eyed with joy throughout the day, and how everything could ‘go wrong’ and everyone would still celebrate because- they’re finally married! The ‘big venue’ will be beautiful, custom details are always a sweet touch, but you know what matters most? Not the venue, or flower arrangements, or invitation designs. It’s the people, your people, that make your wedding the best wedding I get the honor to capture 🤍
