Still learning. Always will be.
Lately I’ve been digging through some of my older edits — the ones I thought were “done" — and quietly reworking them. Same photos, fresh eyes, relentless motivation.
It’s funny how much you change without noticing. What felt like a finished piece now feels like a first draft. And instead of cringing (okay, maybe a little cringing), I’m weirdly grateful. It means I kept going. Kept looking. Kept trying to see a little better.
Lifelong learning doesn’t always look like big breakthroughs or fancy new gear. Sometimes it’s just sitting with old work, admitting you can do better now, and giving it another gentle pass.
No masterpieces here. Just a photographer still figuring things out… one edit at a time.
Thank you, Emily Rudd for letting me spend so many hours staring at your furry baby.
