Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, Alaska

My cousin and I were on a tourist flight out of the interior of Wrangell St. Elias National Monument at 4,000 ft and when we turned a corner we found this lovely valley area amidst the mountain range that was very surreal. Taken with a Nikon D3200 with Nikon DX18-55 mm lens. Everyone who sees this photo thinks it is "unreal" or worst, photo shopped.....but it's the real thing and I just love it! Out of all the times I've photographed Alaska since visiting there in the 1970's.....this is my finest photo so far!

Dix Park, Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.

Dix Park in Raleigh holds an annual sunflower festival in July-August. The flowers attract bees and bugs and the occasional American Goldfinch or Indigo Bunting. I saw an unusual confluence of 2 kinds of bees, a small bug, and an Indigo Bunting dwarfed by a huge sunflower in front of me and took many photos. The photo is completely natural involving no Photoshop composite technique (a question I was asked in a venue where I displayed this).
