I’m just goofin. New Boot Goofin.

If I heard that once, I heard it a hundred times last weekend! Casey bought his first pair of boots for the wedding day. Gotta say he showed them off almost as much as he showed off his wife Jacqueline! One of the best weddings I have had the pleasure of being a part of, stay tuned for more!

Father daughter first looks have become one of my favorite parts of any wedding. Be there to capture a father seeing his baby girl for the first time in her wedding dress is an emotional moment not only for them but all of us! I have been there to witness Barry see both of his daughters and trust me tears were shed at both from almost everyone.

If you haven’t noticed I suck at social media! But this year has already been filled with countless things. From couples who have been the best, job opportunities, and overall just great memories!

It’s the last day of the year, so as you can imagine everyone is posting something. Well here’s mine. 2021 started out much like how 2020 ended, full of confusion which had me thinking what is going to happen to my business? This year had me working in ways I never thought I would have. Numerous trips up the mountain, countless weddings, met so many incredible people from all over the country. It has been a year I will never forget. My business has grew, doors have opened and there were a few firsts. I only want to see the same thing happen in 2022. So to my couples this year, Thank You! You are helping me live out my dream, my passion, and to create work I’m proud of. To the couples who are on the books for 2022, let’s go! I’m ready for ya!

After being apart of this industry for a while now, I have been apart of countless weddings and always like hearing/seeing people’s ideas. One of my favorites this season was from Katie’s bridesmaids. Instead of the traditional flowers, her ladies carried down tambourines! (Still a little sad they didn’t walk down the aisle playing them but I digress) It was definitely a first for me and I loved it! Couples always amaze me at what they can come up with.

As my busiest month comes to an end, I am sitting here thinking about all the weddings I attended and all the trips up the mountain I made just these past few weeks. Yesterday, these two got married. Monica and Chris, it was an absolute honor and privilege to be apart of your day. Have an incredible honeymoon! To everyone else Happy Halloween, now it’s back to editing!

One of my favorite things to ask any of couples when taking their wedding party shots is to look at their favorite person. Meg hit the nail right on the head! When asked she laughed then said Well of course you are Nelson!!!

October. It’s officially breast cancer awareness month. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your reminder to get screened, and not just for breast cancer but for cancer in general. Cancer is scary. Period. But if you are currently dealing with cancer, I hope you’re inspired today by Shelly, a breast cancer survivor, who got matching tattoos with her daughters as a reminder of her strength. 💕
