The future Haarmans! 🖤🕯️🎞️🍐✨🦢

An incredible evening session spent with two of the best people.

I can still remember being back in high school, heading to Paige’s house after volleyball practice, and getting ready for a football game. She was so nervous because she was finally going to meet this guy from the opposing team after the game.

Little did any of us know, that Friday night would be the beginning of their forever.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to document their love story, something I’ll never take for granted. I’ve even included a few photos from the very beginning to the end of this post. It’s so fun to look back and see how far they’ve come.

I can’t wait to celebrate these two as on their wedding day as they become the Haarmans. 🤍

I've been thinking about adding something new for first birthday cake smash sessions...

Instead of bringing all of the decor yourself, what if I offered custom styling as an optional add-on? For an additional fee, I’d create a setup designed specifically for your baby’s session. Whether you love a clean, minimal look or want something fun and unique, I'd bring that vision to life.

I'd also be considering an optional cake add-on, so you could show up with one less thing to worry about. 🎂

This post is a little different from what I would normally relate, but it’s been on my mind (and heart) a lot lately so I felt I should share. This info may not be on your radar if you’re not in the creative or photography industries, and that’s completely okay!

When I deliver your digital gallery, it is the expectation that the images remain the exact way you received them. In other words, there shouldn’t be any third party editing apps, AI tools, or additional filters applied to my images. I absolutely LOVE when people share their photos online, and I enjoy it even more when their friends and family reach out. The only thing I ask is that the images are shared as they were delivered.

One of the things I value most about photography is the human element behind it. The images you receive are the result of years spent learning, practicing, creating, and developing an artistic style that is uniquely my own. When those images are heavily altered through AI tools, that artistic vision can be lost and no longer represents the work I intended to deliver, while also creating unrealistic expectations for future clients.

As photographers, we work incredibly hard to create a strong image for our brand which is represented throughout our portfolios. My editing style is a huge part of that.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for understanding why this means so much to me and my business.

Kicked off my Class of 2027 senior season in quite possibly the coolest way. 🏜️🤎

It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that Will is already a senior. Time really has a funny way of sneaking up on you.

Bryce Canyon and Zion gave us the most incredible backdrop, and we soaked up every earthy tone these landscapes had to offer.

Class of 2027... if this is just the beginning, I already know this season is going to be a good one. 😆
