One of my favorite things about photographing a wedding is getting to see all of the little moments that happen in between the big ones.

The laughs, the happy tears, the little glances, and the moments that weren't planned at all. 🤍

Those are the photographs that take you right back to how the day felt.

I'm so grateful I get to be part of these moments, and I'm really looking forward to the weddings and sessions still to come this year.

It’s easy to focus on the finished portraits, but some of my favorite parts of every session happen in between.

The laughter.
The silly faces.
The little bursts of personality.
The genuine moments that can’t be posed.

Those are the moments that make each session unique and tell your family’s story.

The finished images will always be treasured, but I hope the memories made while creating them are, too. ✨📸

Thirteen.

I'm not quite sure how we got here so quickly.

It feels like just yesterday I was carrying her on my hip, and now she's becoming this amazing young woman with her own personality, dreams, and sense of humor.

As a parent—and a photographer—I've learned that photos become more valuable with every passing year. They preserve the little details and moments that seem to slip by far too quickly.

We celebrated with a birthday photoshoot to capture this season of life exactly as it is. 💙

I'm so grateful to have these memories of her at this age.

Now excuse me while I figure out how I somehow have a teenager. 😂

A little over a week ago I returned from vacation, and one thing that stood out to me wasn’t the destination—it was the photos.

Not because they were perfect, but because they captured moments I’d already started to forget.

A laugh in the car.
A random stop along the way.
A moment that seemed ordinary at the time.

It’s a reminder that photos become more valuable with time. They help us hold onto the little things we don’t realize we’ll miss someday. 💙
