Some places hold memories—others become part of your love story. 🤍

Mary-Margaret and Nick’s story began at the YMCA of the Rockies, a place that’s been a cherished tradition for their families year after year. It only feels fitting that they’ll say “I do” in the very place where it all began next year.

With the breathtaking views of Rocky Mountain National Park as our backdrop, capturing their engagement session in a place so deeply woven into their story made every image that much more meaningful. From their beautifully curated western-inspired details to the breathtaking Rocky Mountain backdrop at their ceremony, every part of their day felt like a dream. The holiday weekend gifted us perfect Colorado weather, and to make the day even more magical, elk made several appearances throughout their celebration!

Ben and Sophie made this engagement session feel effortless from the very first frame. Spending the evening getting to know them was such a joy, and their genuine love and connection made every moment in front of the camera feel so natural.

With fly fishing being such a special part of their lives, stepping into the river surrounded by the Colorado mountains made this session even more special. These are the kinds of photos that tell their story—authentic, and completely them.

Some mornings in Colorado feel like they were made for love stories.

Caroline and Dylan’s engagement session at Mt. Falcon was one of those mornings. A blanket of soft clouds hung over the mountains, creating the dreamiest backdrop and the most beautiful light. The misty peaks and quiet trails gave us a peaceful setting that felt both intimate and undeniably Colorado.

The way Dylan makes Caroline laugh, the way they naturally gravitate toward one another, and the genuine joy they share made every moment feel effortless.

Spending the morning with these two only made me more excited for their wedding day at Black Canyon Inn. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding will be filled with meaningful moments, heartfelt emotion, and a whole lot of love.

Eliot and Taylor’s engagement session at the botanic gardens was such a fun one to photograph! I love how they made the session feel uniquely them—especially with Eliot’s botanic overalls and tomato-patterned dress, which were a perfect fit for a garden-inspired shoot. 🌿🍅

Their connection is so natural and genuine, and Eliot’s love of plants made the gardens an especially meaningful backdrop for celebrating this season of their lives. ✨
