I smile with all of me at this opportunity to be both mother and photography business owner but let’s just say this winter I have been leaning fully into motherhood with my blinders on. Homeschooling, intentionally building friendships for myself and my children, staying on top of routines, and taking care of myself has left little time for this space and I’m okay with that.

With that said, yes. I am still taking family, newborn and maternity photo sessions in and around Denver and Colorado Springs. But availability is limited to 2 sessions a month to allow me to serve my clients (and my family) the best I can with my limited time during the week. 😊 Want more information on how to be one of my two next month?!?

There’s no such thing as a “perfect” newborn session—only a meaningful one. Whether your baby is sleepy or wide-eyed, a few days old or a few weeks in, my goal is always the same: a calm, baby-led (and sibling-led) experience that captures this fleeting season exactly as it is.

Oh friend, I hear this so often. And I get it - you’re juggling everything, waiting for life to slow down, for the house to be clean, for everyone to be in a good mood at the same time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But can I tell you something? In all my years behind the camera, the families who wait for everything to align perfectly... they’re still waiting.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The thing is, your kids won’t be this exact age again. Your baby won’t make those same sweet faces, your preschooler won’t say words quite the same way, and honestly? This beautiful chaos you’re living in right now is actually the good stuff.

Fall light has this way of making everything feel warm and golden - even the imperfect moments. The leaves your toddler insists on throwing, the way your older kids actually want to be close to you when it’s a little chilly - this is your real life, and it’s so worth capturing.

Okay friends, hear me out… here’s my pitch for full session Family Photos in the Denver area. 😉

Mini sessions are flooding the scene, where 10-15 minutes seems like “plenty” (and hey, I totally understand, especially with the babies and young children)! And yes, I have scheduled mini-sessions in the past…

But by taking our time in a full session, we open up space for true connections, heartfelt laughter, and those tiny, magical moments that make the photos feel authentically yours. It’s about sparking genuine vibes, not just snapping rushed poses or ticking off a generic list. There is room from creativity based off your family.

This pace melts away the tension and hurry that families—parents and kids alike—feel when squeezed into a brief slot to “nail it.”

Honestly, the images that truly shine with personality? They usually pop up once the kids are totally comfy, well beyond that 20-minute sweet spot.

I lead my families through it all with a smooth rhythm, soft nudges, and plenty of room for them to just be themselves—like at home—something that’s impossible in a quick-fire setup.

When everyone’s chilled and in the moment, the photos come out looking beautifully effortless. A full session for Denver family photos is for those who want to photograph true connection and not just get that one updated Christmas Card Photo.

It’s always a pleasure to be invited to clients homes and get a glimpse into their days in their space. This homestead session just outside Denver with Destinee was special, they had a calf just born that week and her 5 kids were ready to play!! What a joy it was to photograph her and her babies. I took so many photos at her homestead session I love and I’m excited to share more but here’s a sneak peek!
