Jasmine and Armando's wedding was set in the beautiful backyard of his father's home. It was filled with blooming fruit trees, potted plants and freshly picked flowers. Not only was I captured by how colorful and vibrant the environment was, but the people too. Musicians, artists, friends and family joined together and helped create this incredible celebration.

It was quite the adventure with this family over the weekend! We had been texting back and forth about the possibility of rain. We decided to go for it, and it was a downpour when we first arrived! After 30 minutes the rain cleared and we had the best time and made the most of it.

There’s something about spending time with the sun and the earth that will always speak to me…and being able to do that for my profession is extra special. This weekend I listened to the crunch of dry grass under my boots, felt the prickle bushes rub against my legs, and navigated rocks and hills while watching this family love one another. It was the best.
