A great cause!
Wishing Chief a great retirement, and support on the new project!

A Lake Country Fire Department assistant chief has retired from his position to launch a nonprofit foundation dedicated to providing therapy dogs to first responders nationwide. Read more at the link in the comments.

I got to meet some amazing pups the other night….

You should check out their organization!

They do an amazing job of helping people in need. Whether they are responding to a critical incident to provide emotional support, or providing a service dog to a person that needs one, these volunteers are always helping others.

Finally got the photos done from the Outdoor education days at the Diana Chapter, Izaak Walton League of America.

The rain made a few things difficult, but it all worked out!

Good day for a race! Even if it was cold…

Well, was awesome. We had some amazing students in the classes, and we all thouroughly enjoyed ourselves!

In no particular order the dogs got to:
Teach medical professionals how to save injured canines,
Visit with the public,
Relax in ambulances,
Share in their human’s treats,
Check out human medicine training aids,
Sit in comfy chairs that happened to be by a helicopter,
Prove that human equipment can work on canines if needed,
Visit with each other, the instructors, and other amazing medical professionals.

No wonder they are tired!
