I flew to Knoxville, Tennessee this weekend to photograph Bella + Mikey’s wedding in Newport, and honestly… this day was such a reminder that your wedding should feel like YOU.
They’re both from Indiana, but dreamed of mountains, open fields, nature, and a wedding day that felt completely unapologetically theirs. Bella is the definition of a nature girl - barefoot most of the day, barely any makeup besides mascara, surrounded by her animals, mountains, and the people she loves most.
They included their cat, their dog, their Mustang, and yes… even guns in their portraits. And somehow it all fit together perfectly because every single detail reflected who they are.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was releasing butterflies in memory of Bella’s grandma. Butterflies have always reminded Bella of her, and watching one land on her hand felt like a little sign from heaven.
