Tracking the risk of large to very large hail overnight tonight. If you live in the yellow highlighted area, you may experience hailstones greater than 2 inches in diameter. Storms will likely form late this evening in central Iowa and progress ENE through Wisconsin overnight. Make sure to protect your vehicles tonight!

Monday 9:30 PM Update: We are monitoring a severe storm heading into the Des Moines metro area within the next hour. Heavy rainfall and lightning are expected, but some areas could have quarter size hail and damaging winds!

BREAKING 8:50PM: I-80 is now closed from Altoona to Tiffin. Making I-80 closed across western and eastern Iowa.

A portion of Interstate-80 is now closed. According to the Iowa Department of Transportation, I-80 from Council Bluffs to Des Moines is officially closed due to the blizzard warning. Stuart Police Department notifies the traveling public that
