Love is in the air in Uptown Marion tonight! Sydney and Keenan Kilpatrick, winners of the Wee Parade wedding contest last March celebrated with their closest family and friends tonight at Uptown Snug in The Upstairs!

I hope that fathers everywhere felt celebrated today!

On this second Father’s Day since my own dad went to heaven, I wanted to publicly thank him with one of my favorite portraits I’ve ever taken.

He put a camera in my hand at a very early age and was beyond kind, beyond generous to me. This was especially noticeable in the years I was less than teachable. I continue to use equipment almost daily that he passed along to me but most importantly, I am living out a legacy of creating meaningful artwork that make families feel famous at home.

Thank you, dad for sharing your passion and believing in mine. Also, I have a few sneak peeks I’d love to text you…
