Triple Play | 3 Outs ⚾️🔥
To say we are over the moon would be an understatement. The energy running through my soul after what I witnessed tonight at a 12U game felt like something you only see at the pro level.
Top of the 3rd inning. Bases loaded. No outs. Matt had been playing center field, but they shifted him to second and put his buddy to pitch — one of the toughest situations a player can step into. Our message to the team is always simple: trust your defense, throw strikes, and let your teammates make plays.
Then came THE play.
The batter smoked a line drive to second base. With two quick steps and a stretch, Matthew snagged it out of the air, stepped on second, and fired to first for a TRIPLE PLAY. Three outs. One play. Inning over.
That moment completely flipped the game in our favor, and the Bulldogs went on to win!!! 🐾
Yes, baseball is a team sport — and this team showed up in every way tonight — but when a play that special happens, you celebrate it. Because what we witnessed was pure instinct, hustle, heart, and confidence all coming together in one unbelievable moment.
Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the actual play on camera, but I DID capture the celebration afterward… and honestly, that says everything. The excitement, the brotherhood, the passion — you can’t stage that kind of emotion.
This is why kids play the game. ❤️
