this concludes 2024 & 2025 of pix by jade :)
i have always had a passion for taking photos since a little girl, whether it was selfies or of what was in front of me. finally with my brother getting older playing basketball is where pix by jade all started…
may 2024 my dad bought me my first camera. i started taking pictures of my brother and his aau team. with that i began to branch out taking photos of others at tournaments and eventually covering aau tournaments in that summer! with the starter camera i was nervous of what was going to happen and how to time everything correctly, but it took time learning the camera & prayers. later in 2024 i started covering mayflower volleyball, football, basketball, & even did one of the homecoming walks. 2024 was overall loaded with sports photography that came with better work each month.
2025 was a year full of growth and branching out to more photography. this year i have done gender reveal, maternity, couple, family, & senior sessions. sports wise there was basketball, track, & also covering a softball senior night & game, as well as the an athletic banquet! this was an amazing year behind the lens!
with prayer and trusting God over the past two years of my photography taking off, it has been answered and i’m blessed to have gotten all of these opportunities and have a talent. there’s still bigger and better things to come. thank u God for allowing me to do all of this & thanks to my dad for helping me kick off a dream of mine. also thanks to my mom getting me to these things when i was unable to drive. i’m grateful for everyone who has trusted me behind the camera & the bonds/friendships that were made. i cannot wait to see what 2026 brings :))
