This giant sculpture took 3–4 hours to carve—compressed into just one minute so you can see the magic unfold.

Watch James and the Glacial Ice Works team bring the David H. Martin Excavating, Inc. sculpture to life, one precise cut at a time.

Tonight kicks things off at 5:00pm with LIVE carving of giant ice sculptures. Watch massive blocks of ice transform into incredible works of art right before your eyes.

Then grab your friends and hit the FREE double-wide ice slide on Main Street — open Friday from 5 to 8, Saturday from 10 to 8, and Sunday from noon to 4. Race your friends, scream a little… then do it again.

Friday night, don’t miss the iconic Snowfall Ball at the beautiful Wood Center at the Capitol Theatre. This all-inclusive, family-friendly favorite has been an IceFest tradition for years and runs 5:30 to 9 PM.

Saturday is PACKED — Icing on the Cake from 10 to 4, the Food Truck Fest starting at 10 AM, Chili-Q & Beer Garden 2026 opening at noon, and the Legendary Wing Off at 1 PM.

And to close out the night — we turn up the heat.
