✔️ worked with and learned from amazing journalists and storytellers in Columbia, Louisville, Milwaukee, and Champaign.
✔️ earned an Emmy for breaking news coverage
✔️ launched a freelance business, putting my photography and videography skills from
✔️ made lifelong friendships and built an amazing support system of mentors
✔️ given back by volunteering with non-profit organizations and helping them craft marketing strategies and media pitches to raise awareness about their missions
If you told me 10 years ago that it would all come full circle with a communications job in higher ed - and at Mizzou's Braggin’ Rights rival, , no less - I might not have believed it. But wow, I’m so honored to share stories every day with about the positive impact higher education has on students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community at large.
