A good day for another baby barred owl post. Saw both of these branched cuties tonight, though one is displaying concerning behavior: while the younger one hopped around a tall tree the elder one just sat quietly in a shorter shrubby tree. I’m wondering if it’s chosen a location a little too close to the children’s playground at the park and is getting overwhelmed by the noises. Time will tell! Hopefully I’ll soon be making a happy post saying they’ve moved away from the playground area & both owlets are behaving as expected.
