This Thursday, Drones For Kids had the opportunity to return to Yuma for the second time to introduce another group of young pilots to the exciting world of drones! 🚀🚀🚀

Students learned about drone safety, FAA rules and regulations, built their very own drones, and gained hands-on flight experience. After practicing the basics, they were ready for the next challenge—flying the DJI Avata 2 FPV! Everyone showed incredible patience, control, and confidence while operating professional drone equipment.

We’re so proud of each student’s hard work, participation, and willingness to learn. Thank you to Laura Lopez for providing us with a great space to teach, and to MCX Sonoran Imaging for taking the time to capture photos and assist throughout the program. Your support helped make this another successful event!

We can’t wait to see everyone again soon.

Drones For Kids is coming back to Yuma!

Join us July 16th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for another exciting day of hands-on STEM learning! If you missed our previous class, this is your chance to experience everything Drones For Kids has to offer.

Students will explore drone technology through hands-on flight training, STEM activities, and interactive lessons designed to build confidence, creativity, and technical skills.

James joined our 4-hour Drones For Kids program in Flagstaff this past June and quickly proved himself to be an exceptional drone pilot. His dedication, enthusiasm, and skills have been impressive to watch, and we can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next.

Another successful session is in the books!

This past Monday marked the final week of our Drones For Kids program in San Tan, and everyone had an amazing time wrapping up the course by presenting their final video projects. It was awesome to see the creativity and skills the students developed over the past several weeks. 🚀🚀🚀

With some extra time left at the end of class, we headed out for some free flying—and even convinced a few parents to step in and experience FPV flying for the very first time! Watching both students and parents learn together made for a fun and memorable finish to the program.

A huge thank you to all of our students and families for being part of another incredible session. We can’t wait to see you all again soon!

The Drones For Kids 4-week and 6-week STEM programs are relaunching this August! 🚀🚀🚀

We’ll be offering after-school classes in Chandler, San Tan Valley, and Casa Grande. Students will enjoy hands-on drone building, flight training, STEM education, and video production in a fun, engaging environment.

This Thursday, the Drones For Kids program had the amazing opportunity to partner with Levitate Adventure Park in Flagstaff to introduce young aviators to the world of drones! 🚀🚀🚀

Students and parents learned about drone safety, the many ways drones are used today, and the different types of drone technology. Everyone built their very own drone, learned how to fly it, and took it home to continue practicing and learning.

We wrapped up the day with hands-on FPV training using the DJI Avata 2 and DJI Neo, giving everyone an exciting first-person flying experience.

A huge shoutout to John Dillon and his amazing wife for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to bring the Drones For Kids program to the Flagstaff community. We can’t wait to be back!

Week 3 in San Tan Valley was a great success! 🧑‍💻👩‍💻👨‍💻 Students and parents dove into the video editing portion of the Drones For Kids program, learning the fundamentals of editing including trimming, speed ramping, transitions, color grading, audio, masking, and text effects. We wrapped up the class with some freestyle flying and plenty of hands-on practice.

Next week will be the final class, where students will showcase their video presentations. We can’t wait to see all of their hard work and creativity come to life. Stay tuned! 🚀🚀🚀

This past week, the Drones For Kids program had the opportunity to collaborate with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale 🚀🚀🚀.

Students got hands-on experience flying drones and learning the fundamentals of drone operations. For many of them, it was an exciting moment to watch their drone lift off the ground for the very first time.

Seeing the joy, excitement, and curiosity on their faces was truly rewarding. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share the Drones For Kids program with your organization and inspire the next generation of drone pilots and innovators.

Week 2 in San Tan Valley was an absolute blast! 🚀🚀🚀

Students received their second drone of the program and wasted no time taking to the skies. We also covered the basics of drone safety, rules, and regulations before getting hands-on experience with professional equipment like the DJI Avata 2 FPV and DJI Neo 2.

Next week, we’ll shift our focus to video editing and video production as students continue building their drone and digital media skills.

A huge shoutout to Caleb and Elden for acquiring their first professional drone equipment, the DJI Avata 360! 🚀🚀🚀

These boys took the initiative and successfully completed the Beginner and Advanced Programs through Drones For Kids. This is a huge milestone and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for aviation.
