Of all the hands they'll hold, they'll hold each other's the longest.

From basic bickering to all out brawls, whenever the kids in our family are having a hard time getting along, we remind them that their siblings and cousins are their support system--their built-in friends for life. With a whole lot of nurturing and a little bit of luck, they'll live long lives together, never having to face the world alone.

As their parents, we'll be there for them in the beginning, and they might find partners who will share their lives with them in the end. Siblings and cousins have a greater opportunity to spend nearly their entire lives together. That's a special kind of bond, and hopefully it will be unbreakable.

I'm a sucker for these little moments where siblings are holding hands. Even looking through the camera roll on my phone, I have an unbelievable number of photos that I've snuck of my kids while they were holding hands. Whether it was for play, help, or comfort, there's something about it that I find precious. I hope someday they cherish them just as much as I do.

After a busy, busy week, we've officially emailed the gallery links for digital file orders from all of last weekend's Valentine's Day sessions!

For those who have decided to handle their own printing for the In the Box sessions, please remember that these collages are all formatted as squares, so you'll need to choose a print size with a square aspect ratio, such as 10x10, 12x12, 20x20, etc. Attempting to print other ratios (such as 11x14, 16x20, etc.) will result in your lab either shrinking your collage to maintain the square shape within the document boundaries or stretching your collage to make it fill the selected print size, causing significant distortion.

Now scheduling our newest Limited Edition session, just in time for Valentine's Day!

Our Love in Bloom sessions blend subtle country charm with a timeless aesthetic. These sessions are designed to capture genuine expressions and classic portraits you'll cherish long after the season has passed.
