🏁 What. A. Day. At Le Val des Terres! 📸🔥
The Guernsey National Hill Climb Championship once again delivered incredible action, speed, and more than a few heart-stopping moments! Huge congratulations to Wallace Menzies, who made it 4 wins from 4 in the Channel Islands, setting an astonishing new outright hill record of 26.17 seconds around Val des Terres. An absolutely phenomenal achievement. 👏🏆 The battle behind was just as intense, with Matt Ryder and Will Hall swapping podium positions across the two run-offs, keeping the championship fight incredibly close. Locally, Steve Brehaut put in a fantastic performance, improving from 8th in Run Off 1 to an impressive 4th overall in Run Off 2, setting a new PB of 27.75 seconds. 💪🇬🇬 As for the photography side of things… these are the moments we live for. One sequence in particular captured a dramatic incident, with car #221 taking to the bank in spectacular fashion. Thankfully, it appears everyone walked away safely, but it certainly made for one of the most intense photo sequences I’ve ever managed to capture! The first image here shows the very start of the impact, with dirt and debris erupting into the air. 😮💥 A massive thank you to all the marshals, officials, competitors and spectators who made today another unforgettable chapter in Guernsey motorsport.
