Nearly every night of my pregnancy with Wilder I woke up at 4:44 AM. When you see 4s it means the angels are with you and you’re being divinely guided. He was born on 4/4!

I surround myself with these photos where I get dressed and in my bathroom to remind myself. If you have beautiful photos of yourself I hope you not only cherish them but DISPLAY them! The 3rd photo is the day of my first photoshoot as a photographer ever, 3 days before Wilder was born. I took nakey photos of my friends in their garden for their 40th and they caught me on camera too. And I was gifted that photo from that experience that I will cherish forever.

A few months later when Wilder was 3 months old I got back in the tub (1st photo) What can I say ? We love a clawfoot garden tub!! and I HAD to create my super la Bomba floral studio after this. (Scroll way back if you don’t know about Super La Bomba! )

When he was 3 months old I also started doing photos more intentionally / seeking clients etc. (while working at my corporate job) - the lovely .ayurveda believed in me and was my first client. (Last photo). not pictured is me wearing Wilder during my shoot with Caryn. Im@so@glad they met.

Thanks for supporting the “Live Wilder. Live Fiercely” mantra this year with me, us, we!
BTW - I’d like to put it out to the universe that in 2024 I’ll offer signature live wilder elopements to dates pre-determined on my calendar by application only. I’m looking for a job! One that allows me to keep doing full service intimate weddings and elopements but that lets me take personal days (my current boss is so mean and makes me work - EDIT- all night sometimes!!), and be able to pick up my kids from school (and hang out with them instead of work when we get home)(I’m learning to roller skate and I need daylight for that kind of activity!!!) I really just want an office job again where I can zone out but also zone in and remember to make myself go to yoga while looking up soup recipes on a coffee break. I took on a bunch of part time jobs this Holiday season to prepare for the upcoming and dreaded SLOW SEASON and today when buying water resistant silicone for our maiden camper camping trip on NYE I contemplated working at Ace hardware! Still might!! What a dream job to be honest!! Learn about DIY and get a discount on tools and ⚙️🧰⛓️🤤🤤🤤 it’s been fun dabbling in what I want to do. I don’t know really. But I do know, “I’ma highly-driven-self-motivator-who-is-resourceful-comma-good-at-no-not really-multi-tasking-definitely-DOES-have-ADHD-and-is-GREAT-WITH-PEOPLE.”
So, there it is folks! I’m a people person. 💁🏻‍♀️That’s my cover letter!
But forreal 15-20 years in events, marketing and executive customer service working in agency life (hate to love it) based in Chicago, London, Sydney and Charleston for Fortune 500 brands like Amazon, P&G Beauty, AdidasbyStella McCartney, POMWonderful, Cadbury, Samsonite, Whirlpool +de-escalating JEFF BEZOS. I attempted the world record for Elvis impersonators in Australia-they lost-too hungover for the AM newscall time. Maybe I’ll leave that out of the next cover letter? You tell me!🫶🏼🙌 🤦🏻‍♀️😘

Beautiful weekday elopement at Cypress Gardens. December is definitely a great month to avoid crowds, bugs and heat! It was a stunning day to reenact all my “notebook” movie dreams.

Y’all I don’t post much and it’s because I do a lot of things Just this week I was a Wedding Photographer, Family Photographer, Elopement Planner, Santa Sittings photographer, 😆, and Wedding Officiant. And that makes me worried that is confusing- Plus I have a lot of anxiety and I cannot be on this app and also be the best Mom, friend, wife, or biz owner… sooooo just curious should I start a new account that is just for family photos and other photos and keep this one for elopement photography / planning and wedding officiating? To capture a Momma in her glow is my one true wish!! After leaving corporate life to start my own business in Jan 2020 I started out as a maternity and baby photographer - that was the season of life I was in. So much has changed in 4 years, and mamas still capture all my heart!

Obsessed is an understatement. I think about this wildflower field morning noon and night (because it’s right where I live). To meet such gorgeous humans who had the idea to seed it for all of our community to enjoy as we drive by- WOW! My kinda people. Had to know them. Had to meet these creators and land stewards. They lived up to all my expectations and more! Cheers to the sunniest spot on Folly Rd. Thanks to this wildflower field.
