One year of the Criscos 🤍 and I’m still not over this day.

From the very beginning, their story felt like something out of a movie — a chance meeting thanks to the sweetest pup (Bailey, the real MVP 🐾), turning into the kind of love you just know is meant to be. True “puppy love” in the best, forever kind of way… and even more fitting when you know Laura comes from a family of firefighters and just so happened to fall in love with one ❤️‍🔥

Their wedding day was just as meaningful as their story — layered with so much intention, heart, and personal touches that made every moment feel uniquely them. And riding off into the night in a firetruck? Truly iconic.

Seeing it all come full circle, featured in this spring’s issue of South Carolina Bride… could not be more deserved.

Kirsten & Steve absolutely owned both vibes — from twirling through the Charleston streets to soaking up that golden beach light 🥹 It’s officially wedding month and I’m counting down the days until they say “I do” at Dunes West. I already know it’s going to be the sweetest day 🩵

Mr. & Mrs. Pellicani 💛✨🥂

Brooke and Peter truly could not have ordered up a more perfect spring day at Lowndes Grove—dreamy light, the softest breeze, and that kind of love you can feel in the air. From the start, it was clear these two are surrounded by the absolute best people… the kind of families, bridal party, and guests that make you feel like you’ve known them forever and somehow belong right there with them.

Nothing felt rushed. Nothing felt forced. It just flowed—the way only the best wedding days do when two people are completely present with each other.

The butter yellow details were the perfect nod to April (still not over it), the speeches and dances had me fully fighting back tears behind the camera, and just when you thought it couldn’t get better… Brooke crowd surfing to end the night?? ICONIC.

Such a fun, joy-filled day from start to finish 💛

Kicked off spring wedding season last Friday in the BEST way — celebrating Mr. & Mrs. Murray 🥂

Jordan and Jereme said “I do” surrounded by their closest people at the Eternal Father of the Sea Chapel, then led the way with a second line parade over to their al fresco reception at the Admiral’s House (arguably one of the best ways to start a party 👏🏼).

It was one of those days that just felt special from start to finish. Jordan was an absolute vision (like… unreal), and while Jereme keeps things cool and collected at first glance… don’t let that fool you — he fully showed up on the dance floor 💃🏻

Their love is the kind that draws everyone in — you could feel it in every hug, every toast, every moment (yes, I was absolutely holding back tears behind the camera during the dances and speeches 🥹).

And just when you think it couldn’t get better… enter: an epic dance floor, a shotski with Nana (!!), and a party no one wanted to leave.

Safe to say… they set the bar HIGH for the 2026 season ✨

Headed back to the Admiral’s House this weekend to kick off spring wedding season, and I can’t help but think about Rylee + Charlie’s stunning fall day there 🤎✨

One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to see each couple bring their vision to life in such a unique way—and Rylee absolutely nailed it. The rich chocolate tones, classic calla lilies, and soft candlelight under those iconic oaks created the dreamiest, most romantic atmosphere.

But what made the day unforgettable was them. The way Charlie completely broke down the moment he saw Rylee… whew. The kind of love you don’t have to question for a second. It was honest, emotional, and so deeply felt—you could see it in every glance, every touch, every tear.

It felt timeless. Intentional. Effortlessly elegant in a way that will never go out of style.

Marching into spring wedding + engagement season and honestly… it’s my favorite time of year. 🌸

Charleston starts to wake up again — the azaleas and jasmine bloom, the marsh turns that perfect shade of green, and the weather is about as perfect as it gets. The city feels alive again, engagement sessions fill the calendar, and wedding season officially kicks into gear.

Spring in Charleston just hits different, and I’m so excited for all the celebrations ahead, including Chloe and Sam’s beautiful day at Old Wide Awake Plantation later this spring. 🤍

One week of Noah Thomas 🩵🩵

Last Friday we welcomed our sweet boy on 1/30/26 at 6:30pm, and life has been a beautiful blur ever since 💙

While our pregnancy was pretty textbook, our labor and delivery was another story. Noah decided to spice things up with a grand debut. He had some trouble breathing after birth, and got quickly acquainted with the NICU team instead of spending those first hours with mom and dad — easily the longest few hours of our lives waiting to see him.

While it wasn’t the birth I imagined, we are SO grateful for the incredible doctors and nurses who jumped into action, took amazing care to stabalize us both, and helped him get back on the right track so we could all be together.

This past week has been full of newborn snuggles, contact naps, late-night feeds, and soaking in every tiny detail of our little guy. He is already so loved and prayed for.

Noah Thomas, you are our greatest adventure yet 🤍✨

Christmas may be over, but Courtney & Aidan’s holiday-inspired wedding day is going to live rent-free in my head year-round 🎄✨

I don’t think I’ll ever get over how absolutely perfect this day was—rain and all. Cozy December vibes done right: evergreens everywhere, candles on candles on candles, and a Christmas reception for the ages. Add in a bar scene that truly stole the show, belly laughs Santa himself would be proud of, and more happy tears than I can count… it was classy, elegant, timeless, and overflowing with joy.

Proof that a little rain + a lot of love (and candlelight) makes for the dreamiest winter wedding 🤍

2025 WRAPPED ✨

What a whirlwind of a year.

I was beyond blessed to serve 16 incredible CBP couples on their wedding days, second shoot more celebrations than I can count, and photograph 27 amazing couples + families through proposals, engagements, family sessions, and even a few newborn snuggles. Getting to see past wedding clients again as their families grow is truly one of the sweetest parts of this job.

This year became extra special when we found out I was pregnant with Baby Baird right at the start of wedding season 🤍 This little nugget was right there with me for TWENTY weddings over the last eight months — proof that this job (and this season) is powered by love, grit, and probably a whole lot of Diet Coke + Chick-fil-A.

While 2025 brought so much joy, it also tested me physically and mentally, and we grieved the loss of some of those closest to us. That loss has been a powerful reminder of just how much a memory holds in a photograph — sometimes it’s all you have left — and it has deepened my purpose behind what I do even more.

And with how busy this 2025 season of life was, I definitely didn’t share nearly enough of the goodness I captured… so enjoy a little snapshot of 16 of the best days 🤍
(2026 resolution: share WAY more!!)

I cannot thank you all enough for supporting me, trusting me, and allowing me to do what I love through every season — especially as I step into my newest role: motherhood. I’m closing out this year soaking up these last moments with Aaron before we become a family of three, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful.

Here’s to rest, reflection, and SO much excitement for 2026 and the amazing couples I get to celebrate next 🥂✨
