74 nautical miles and 13 hours later, we made it to Charleston, SC. Started out on the ICW with smooth water and clouds....

74 nautical miles and 13 hours later, we made it to Charleston, SC.

Started out on the ICW with smooth water and clouds. We went through Lady’s Island swing bridge, built in 1959. Cool to see at 6:30am.

Headed out St. Helena inlet and traveled outside all the way north to Charleston.

Again, lots of big swells; no dolphins today (except in the ICW).

I thought I saw the Krakken… it was just a random floating tree. Five miles offshore. Weird.

Weather was nice, cloudy a lot of the day but the water was SUCH an amazing color.

Coming into Charleston, we navigated through huge shipping freighters, crazy Memorial weekend boaters and passed by Ft. Sumpter.

Finally anchored next to the USS Yorktown.

We are exhausted 😴
