Fun & challenging architectural shoot for my friends at out of Atlanta. I learned 💯 of what I know about architectural photography from
who is now in Chicago. After maybe ten years of trying to absorb his knowledge working alongside him I still feel like a student tbh. His work is some of the best I have ever seen. His editing as well. It is humbling to not know what you don't know. You can stare at the screen while he edits or you can try to watch his fingers, but it is like watching a skilled piano player just kind of make magic right in front of you. It is exciting and frustrating, but whenever I shoot architecture I hear Jason's voice telling what to do. Working with HFC the past couple of years has been similarly rewarding in such that I feel lucky to be working with such talented humans. It feels like cheating being asked to archive their work because it shoots so well! The nicest staff, and they let me play the music I need to shoot long days.
