After 27 years of friendship, we’re still finding new ways to have fun and create memories together—and our sandcastle-building session with Create A Castle in Myrtle Beach was such a unique experience!

With hands-on guidance, specialized molds and all the tools we needed, we learned how to properly pack the sand, build towers and bring our castle to life one detail at a time.

It was creative, relaxing and such a fun way to enjoy the beach beyond the usual. This is one of those activities that’s just as much about the experience as it is the finished castle.

📍Glamping Collective | near Asheville NC

The Sunset Summit Trail at Glamping Collective near Asheville, NC was one of those hikes where the journey really is just as beautiful as the destination.

The trail winds through the peaceful Blue Ridge Mountains, surrounded by trees, lush greenery and mountain scenery that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. 🌿

And then you reach the summit…

The trail opens up to incredible mountain views, with layers of the Blue Ridge stretching into the distance.

Charleston is known for beautiful architecture, incredible history, and an amazing food scene—and our visit to Anson Restaurant in downtown Charleston was the perfect combination of all three. ✨

Set in the heart of the historic district, Anson has that classic Charleston feel with an elegant atmosphere that makes dinner here feel like part of the experience.

A highlight of our evening was getting the chance to meet Chef Shaun Connolly Shaun Connolly . It’s always special for us to have the opportunity to meet the talent behind the dishes!

Here’s what we enjoyed:
🍋 Limoncello Spritzer made with Anson’s house-made limoncello, & Prosecco

🍉 Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon Salad with goat cheese, corn

🍅 Fried Green Tomatoes with bacon jam, pimento cheese

There’s just something about a getaway to St. Augustine, Florida 🌴✨

Cobblestone streets, swaying palms, centuries-old buildings, little hidden courtyards, waterfront views and more history than you could possibly take in during one visit. St. Augustine is one of those places where simply wandering around is half the experience.

As the oldest continuously inhabited European-established city in the U.S., there’s history around practically every corner—but mix that with the laid-back Florida atmosphere and you get the perfect little escape. ☀️

A few things to add to your St. Augustine getaway:

🌴 Wander the historic streets and admire the Spanish architecture
🏰 Explore Castillo de San Marcos
🛍️ Stroll St. George Street for shops, restaurants & local finds
🌊 Walk along the waterfront and Matanzas Bay
☕ Find a cozy café and slow down for a bit
🍹 Grab dinner and drinks somewhere tucked along the historic streets
🌅 Catch a Florida sunset
👻 And if you love a little spooky history, St. Augustine has plenty of ghost stories to go around

It’s the kind of destination that works just as well for a romantic weekend, girls’ trip or spontaneous road trip when you’re craving somewhere that feels a little different.

Historic charm + palm trees + good food + ocean air = a pretty perfect Florida getaway. 🌴🤍

A charming little mountain town tucked away in Western North Carolina 🏔️🤎

We spent some time exploring Canton, NC, and it’s one of those small towns that makes you want to slow down, wander around, and simply enjoy where you are.

📍 Canton, North Carolina

✨ What we loved about our visit:
• Charming, walkable downtown streets
• Beautiful mountain scenery in every direction
• Local shops and small businesses
• Historic buildings and small-town architecture
• Murals and little details worth stopping for
• Plenty of spots to grab a coffee or bite to eat
• That laid-back Western NC atmosphere we love
• A great little stop to pair with an Asheville or Blue Ridge Mountains trip

It isn’t about a packed itinerary here — it’s about wandering Main Street, supporting local businesses, taking in the mountain backdrop, and enjoying the slower pace for a while.

If you love finding small towns, mountain views, local businesses, and lesser-known stops, put Canton on your Western North Carolina road-trip list. ⛰️✨

When the mountains call, sometimes you just have to answer. 🌲✨

📍 The Glamping Collective
Asheville, NC

Tucked into the mountains just outside Asheville, this dreamy dome stay gave us exactly what we were looking for — fresh mountain air, peaceful surroundings, cozy evenings and the chance to slow down for a little while.

✨ What we loved about our dome stay:
• Cozy private dome surrounded by nature
• Beautiful mountain views
• Comfortable bed for a cozy night in
• Private bathroom
• Climate-controlled interior
• Outdoor space to sit back and enjoy the surroundings
• Fire pit for evenings under the stars 🔥

There’s just something about waking up surrounded by trees, spending the day exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains and coming back to your own little dome in the woods.
