Known also as "photographic art", "artistic photography" and so on, the term "fine art photography" has no universally agreed meaning or definition: rather, it refers to an imprecise category of photographs, created in accordance with the creative vision of the cameraman.

Earlier this month, I got to capture a few quick shots of this sweet little family! 🥰

One of my favorite parts of doing this is getting to watch these kiddos grow up in front of my camera. It feels like just yesterday they were so much smaller!

So thankful to keep capturing these little moments and memories for this family. ❤️

Enjoy a few sneaks!

SAVE THE DATE 💍✨

Last night I met up with Connor & Reagan for a quick engagement session to help celebrate their upcoming wedding!

We had the perfect golden hour, and these two absolutely crushed it. I already know their December wedding is going to be one heck of a good time, and I seriously can't wait to capture it! 🎄❤️

For now, enjoy a few sneaks from their engagement session! 👀📸

I want to apologize for the delay on a few galleries! After getting back from my travels, I ended up dealing with some pretty stubborn sinus issues, and it’s definitely slowed me down.

Between DayQuil, plenty of rest, and squeezing in a few hours of editing when I can, I’m still working away — just at a much slower pace than I normally do.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while I get caught back up. I promise I’m working hard to get your galleries finished and in your hands as soon as possible! 📸❤️

Kyle + Courtney 🌴📸

This past week while I was in The Bahamas, I met this couple on the very first day during one of our excursions.

You know me…I can’t not introduce myself and start talking to people. 😅 Come to find out, Kyle and Courtney had just gotten married and were in The Bahamas celebrating their honeymoon!

Since I had my gear with me and had some time, I offered to grab a few photos of them on the beach while they were here — and they said yes!

A super cool couple from Michigan, a WV boy, and a camera somehow all came together in the middle of the ocean. 🌊

Life has a funny way of bringing new people into your life, and I’m so glad our paths crossed!

Enjoy a few sneaks from their honeymoon session for now! 🤍📸

Take that leap of faith, trust me.

One of the coolest encounters from my trip to The Bahamas was getting up close with the Northern Bahamian Rock Iguana 🦎🇧🇸
These prehistoric-looking creatures call the tiny islands and cays of the Exumas home, and they have one WILD conservation story.

The Allen Cays Rock Iguana was once believed to be completely extinct after being heavily hunted for food in the early 1900s. Thankfully, populations survived on a few remote cays, and conservation efforts have helped their numbers rebound. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, researchers even moved a small group of iguanas to another island to establish a “backup” population — those few animals went on to produce dozens of descendants. 🦎

And here’s another crazy Exuma connection: Nicolas Cage once owned Leaf Cay, one of the private islands in this same incredible archipelago. 🎬🏝️

A few facts that make these guys even cooler:
• They’re herbivores, feeding primarily on plants and vegetation 🌿
• Some can reach around 3 feet from snout to tail and weigh more than 20 pounds
• They can live for 20+ years
• They’re incredibly specialized for island life and are found naturally on only a handful of tiny cays
• Their populations remain threatened by habitat changes, invasive animals, poaching, hurricanes and the effects of human tourism

Standing on a tiny island in the middle of the Bahamas photographing an animal that was once thought to be gone forever was pretty surreal.

Nature has a pretty incredible way of fighting its way back. 🌴🦎

A little look at the world through my camera lately. 📸

Wedding days, family, landscapes, business, travel… life lately has been pretty fun, and I’m grateful I get to document so much of it.

Every photo tells a different story, and somehow they all come together to tell mine.

Which photo should I tell the story behind?

During our recent trip to Yosemite, we found a black bear less than a few hundred yards from our campsite. Needless to say, that got our attention REALLY quick. 😂

Here are a few facts I found interesting:
•Yosemite is home to American black bears — there are no grizzly bears in the park today.

• Despite their name, most Yosemite black bears aren’t actually black. They can be brown, cinnamon, or even blond, with around 90% being brown-colored.

• Yosemite covers about 1,187 square miles, which works out to roughly one bear every 2.4–4 square miles if they were evenly distributed — although they definitely aren't.

• The largest black bear ever captured in Yosemite weighed around 690 pounds. 😳

• In 2024, Yosemite recorded 34 human-bear incidents and 21 bears were hit by vehicles.

So yeah…when you're camping in Yosemite, there's a pretty good chance a bear is somewhere nearby, even if you never see it. 😂🐻Definitely one of the more unforgettable parts of this trip!
