I don’t often post these cake smash sessions 😅 I really don’t know why, cause they’re so STINKIN CUTE!!! It’s so funny watching the little’s different reaction when it’s time to smash their cake… they either love it or hate it 😂

These little milestones are such a blast to capture cause I’m gonna tell you now, that 1 to 2 is such a big change!

Photography has been such a huge part of my life since I was a teenager, and getting to call it my JOB while also being able to say I’m a PUBLISHED PHOTOGRAPHER in MULTIPLE magazines is honestly surreal!!! 🥹📸🤎

For the longest time, especially in the creative world, I’d see opportunities like this and think, “My work isn’t good enough for that level.” I was counting myself out before I even tried.

Then I started asking myself… “Why not me?”

Why couldn’t my work be published? Why couldn’t I belong in those spaces too?

So I started saying YES. I started submitting my work, putting myself out there, and giving myself permission to believe that maybe I was capable of more than I thought!

And now… here we are 🥹

I’m incredibly grateful, humbled, and just so HAPPY!!! Thank you to everyone who has trusted me, supported my work, shared my work, and cheered me on. IT MEANS MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!! 🙏🏽✨

To every photographer and creative who’s ever thought “that couldn’t be me” take the chance! Submit the work! Put yourself out there!

And remember, WHY NOT YOU? 🤍

Eric + Madyson 🤍💍

Eeeeek, I was literally geeking when I saw Mady inquire about an engagement session 🤭 I know her from XTreme Hip Hop classes, and it had been a hot minute since we’d seen each other! So getting to reconnect AND photograph such a special season for her and Eric made this session even more exciting for me 🥹🤍

FUN FACT: This was taken in July not too long after the 4th so there was still 4th of July decoration on the building 🥴 so ya girl had an absolute blast erasing all that in post 🙃😂
