There’s something so special about being invited back into someone’s story

This past fall, I had the honor of meeting Calli and Pierce while capturing Pierce’s brother’s wedding, and getting to be part of another milestone for this incredible family meant so much to me.

Getting to witness and document Pierce asking Calli to spend forever with him was one of those full circle moments that reminds me why I love what I do. Being trusted to capture these once in a lifetime memories is something I will never take for granted.

Calli’s reaction, the joy, the emotion, everything about this moment was just so genuine and so them.

Forever grateful to be welcomed back into your lives for something this meaningful.

There’s something about the softness, the movement, the way it holds light that digital just can’t quite replicate. It feels a little more honest, a little more nostalgic, like a memory you can actually step back into.

Finally sharing Lexi & Tyler’s fall wedding

There’s always a chance it might rain on your wedding day… but that doesn’t mean anything is ruined. The difference is in how you choose to show up and these two showed up with the kind of joy and presence that made every moment feel exactly as it was meant to be.

Even with a ceremony location change and rain that didn’t let up during portraits, their day was nothing short of perfect. The sweetest moments, the constant laughter, the way they stayed grounded in what actually mattered… it was such a beautiful reminder that the heart of a wedding isn’t in the timeline going perfectly, it’s in the experience you create together.

One of my favorite moments, Tyler opening the pew for his mom during the ceremony… and the door literally coming off in his hand 😅 the laughter that followed, a groomsman carrying it away like it was part of the plan… those are the moments you can’t script, and honestly, the ones you’ll remember most.

As a wedding photographer, it’s never just about what the day looks like it’s about how it felt. The big moments, the small ones, the unexpected in-betweens. My goal is always for you to feel your photos years from now, and to tell your story exactly as it unfolded.

Sunrise on Kiawah Island just hits different… especially when it’s the morning you get engaged.

Nick planned the sweetest early morning walk along the beach, and just before the rain rolled in, he got down on one knee and asked Jenna forever. The sky absolutely showed off for them, soft light, glowing horizon, and that just-engaged kind of joy you can’t fake.

These are the moments I live for… the quiet, in-between candids where nothing is posed and everything is felt. The laughter, the disbelief, the “did that really just happen?” energy all of it wrapped into the best morning of their lives.

There’s something about the night before that just hits different.

More and more of my couples are choosing to have their welcome parties captured, and I have to say I’m fully here for it.

It’s the first real moment where everything starts to feel real, friends arriving, hugs that have been waiting months, the energy building before the big day.

Carly and Cole’s night was filled with so many intentional little touches that set the tone for their entire wedding weekend. From the atmosphere to the people in the room, it’s such a special part of the story and one I love documenting just as much as the wedding day itself.

I know, I know… we’re deep in spring and I’m very behind on sharing, but I couldn’t not post. These two are too adorable not to have a permanent spot on the feed.

Their fall wedding day was one of those that just felt easy in the best way. The kind where everything slows down a little, the air is crisp, and you can actually feel the emotion in every moment. And the fog… don’t even get me started. It rolled in at just the right time and wrapped their entire day in the dreamiest, romantic fall glow. Truly unreal.

Kelly & Larry are the kind of couple that make what I do feel effortless. So natural together, so present, and so clearly each other’s person. Every little in-between moment, every quiet glance… it was all magic.

Proof that even if I’m late sharing, some days are just too good to keep to myself!
