I hope everyone had a lovely motherā€™s day. Here is throw back to 8 years ago, my wild child who gave me the title of mom.

This photo summarizes our life the last couple months. Pure chaos.

My husband officially is no longer in the navy and a part of me is sad that chapter is closed. Some people donā€™t enjoy the moves, but I kinda love a change of scenery. I am pretty sure I am a nomad in another life.

We were originally supposed to be moving to Washington State, at first I wasnā€™t super excited about it, but then I got excited and was looking forward to all the outdoorsy things.
However, as of a couple weeks ago, we were able to secure a job outside of charlotte and we will eventually move upstate.
Itā€™s been chaos, trying to line things up, make plans, the whole point of getting out of the navy was so my husband could be home, but right now, moving in this economy just isnā€™t possible, so charleston will be home for a little while longer.

Happy New Year Everyone! I cannot believe 2026 is here. This year is full of huge life changes for my family, and I would be lying if I said I wasnā€™t a little scared. I am so grateful for this military life, I have gotten to meet some incredible people and document so many beautiful moments for some of yā€™all. I donā€™t know where our journey will go from here, but keep following along. I will be keeping my books open here for Charleston until April until we know where we are headed to next, so now is the time to book as I have limited openings.

I feel like this year has flown by. I know I keep saying this, but itā€™s probably the last year we will be here in the low country. I am glad I could get some minis in with some of my OG families. Watching your families grow the last 5 years has been the best. I have never been somewhere long enough to do that, and when we lived in Hawaii, most my clients were tourist, so itā€™s been so incredibly rewarding to be chosen to document your familyā€™s story over the years.
