It doesn’t matter if it’s a bright, sunshine day or a gloomy, overcast day. Goldpetal Farms Maryland is always beautiful. And even if my zinnia series has had to be shifted to meet the demand of Mother Nature, I still kicked it off with a bang!

What an actual angel in human form. Traveling to DC with her family and up before the sun to meet me at our nationals Capitol for her senior portraits. It was a blast getting to run around town with her and her family. A highlight for me, trying to do a Dr. Pepper shower… you know, instead of a champagne shower. And the soda didn’t give us any pizzazz 😆 but you know any other day of the week if we shook the soda and went to open it, it would have exploded everywhere ha

Ahmad + Rachel

The Fenwick Inn was the perfect backdrop for their intimate wedding here in Leonardtown. The rain quite literally worked around all of our portraits and even though the ceremony had to be switched to indoors, Rachel + Ahmad were able to have a starry ceremony with their closest friends and family. Whom flew in from all over the world.

One of my favorite moments of their day, getting to see Ahmad and his family and friends do the Dabke. A traditional dance that they’ve learned since they were young and growing up in Jordan. Watching Rachel’s family and friend join in was the cherry on top!

Also, learning that Rachel’s family has a tradition that the members of the family perform during the newlyweds first dance 🥹 so many special touches throughout their day. Here’s just the smallest little glimpse.

To be honest, these were supposed to launch in June but after vacation I got sick and then it was put on the back burner but hey, I got things together and THEY’RE READY!

The sweetest DC engagement session

Perfect setting for Rachel + Ahmad considering they just moved back to the east coast. We had overcast skies and temps that weren’t dangerous and for that, we were thankful. We dodged duck p**p and tourists and let me tell you, this may be my new favorite side of the tidal basin. Even though stumpy is no longer there, the upgrade to the walls are beautiful. And the lack of crowds makes it ideal.

The best part, I get to celebrate their wedding NEXT weekend here in SOMD.

I’m biased but this series of images is super special to me. Getting to see my bestie walk this season of life and step into the role of mama 🥹 I already know baby T is so loved and spoiled by his mama and daddy. Soon to be spoiled by everyone else in his life too. Auntie Candace cannot wait to meet you, handsome lil man. I’m super biased of course, but I’m literally obsessed with this series of images. To celebrate with my bestie and her hubster and their pups, chickens, ducks and geese 😆 on their farm as they prepare to welcome Baby T into this world.

I cannot wait to watch Beca step into the role of Mother. She’s already the bestest mama to their sweet boy. Just know, more of this series is coming. But for now, this is all you get to see 🥹
