Four years old and full of wonder ✨ I love capturing milestone portraits, especially when they’re part of a meaningful family tradition. In this sweet family, each grandchild gets their portraits taken at age four, and the portraits fill the walls of Grandma’s home. I had the joy of photographing this little one’s big sister a few years ago, and now it was her turn. What a beautiful way to preserve both memories and legacy 💕

Just before my daughter was born, I had the joy of photographing this beautiful family. Watching the way they loved on each other and the fun energy these girls brought to the session made me even more excited to become a girl mom myself. 💕

Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do! I’ll never take for granted what a privilege it is when a family allows me to capture the little personalities, the hugs, the laughter, and the in-between moments that tell their story.

Back in March, I had the joy of capturing Kristin and Matt’s wedding day. Life has been a whirlwind since then (moving, pregnancy, and welcoming a new baby!), so I’m just now getting around to sharing but this day was far too special to keep to myself. ✨

Kristin was such a stunning bride, and the way Matt looked at her melted my heart. Their families were so sweet and fun, and the setting at Badin Lake couldn’t have been more beautiful. The day began with fog rolling over the water which made for some dreamy pre-ceremony portraits. Then, just as the ceremony was about to begin, the clouds parted and the sun came out. I love seeing the tangible ways God blesses a union, and this day was such a perfect reminder of that. 🤍

Meet the reason why I've been so quiet on here lately - our precious little Lainey. She is 4 months old and I am JUST getting around to editing her newborn photos. That 2 under 2 game is tough! But we are starting to get into the swing of things! I have recently opened my books back up and would love to get you scheduled for some photos! I promise it won't take me 4 months to edit your pictures 😅

Soaking in these last few weeks of being just a boy mom before we welcome our baby girl in April. We're so excited to meet her, but I'll always be grateful to this little boy for making me a mama 🤎
