Red poppies are one of my favorite flowers. They are a symbol of remembrance for those who sacrificed their lives in battle. They also signify resilience, hope, and rest. Poppies can lie dormant for years and thrive in disturbed soil. They are overcomers.
Today we honor those who gave their all so that others could live freely. I see their sacrifice in the wild red petals painted across the fields. Thank you. Your legacy lives on in each one of us.

Not all the kids were sure about doing a photo session at first, which is totally normal. But after some playful direction through games and exploration everyone was fully on board. My job is to guide you into these moments and capture your reaction along the way. Sometimes it’s asking you to whisper something meaningful to each other or playing a silly game of red light green light with me. So don’t worry about how to pose or smile, we’ll create something genuine that you can cherish forever.

You’ll play, explore, giggle, and snuggle. The best photos come from you enjoying yourself in the moment. Don’t worry about perfect behavior from kids. When you look back, some of your favorite photos may be of them being exactly who they are. Just enjoy them, and I’ll take care of the rest.
