📌 Most small business owners don’t delay a brand shoot because of money.

They delay it because they’re not sure what happens after.

You’ve probably been saving brand shoot inspo for months...but you still haven’t pulled the trigger on booking a session.

It’s not that you don’t want (or know you need) the photos. It’s because you’re wondering if you’ll *actually * use them.

I hear this all the time and I get it.

TBH, that question matters more than the photos themselves.

Let’s talk about the difference between being seen and being understood.

A headshot is a lovely introduction.
Clean. Polished. Necessary.

But it’s still just that - an introduction.
It simply says “Hi, I exist.”

Brand photography goes further. It communicates:
🧠 how you think
👩‍💻 how you work
🌎 what it feels like to be in your world

Brand photography says, “Here’s what I stand for and here’s why you’ll love working with me.

Both matter, but they do very different jobs.

Hey y’all! Let’s do a Friday Introduction & an update!
It feels really good to be back here. 🤍

If you’re new here - Hi! 👋🏻 I’m Lori Ellen co-owner of and photographer/videographer for Harmonie House Images!

If you’ve been here for a while, you may have noticed that things have been a little quiet lately.

The truth is…we’ve been in a season of transition.

For a variety of reasons Miranda has made the decision to “step back” from our work here. While I understand, it is still a decision that has come with a lot of emotion and a need for space to process. 🥺 For a little while, we weren’t quite sure how to show up here - so we didn’t.

We remain hopeful that, in time, Miranda will feel that she is able to join me again in serving the women-led businesses we love so much. For the time being, though, Harmonie House Images is a one-woman show. 💪🏼

I wasn’t sure what that would look or feel like at first. But, as with all seasons of change, the seeds of something new slowly started to take shape. 🍃🌸🌺🌷 (Peonies grow in the dirt, after all.)

This next chapter - what I’m calling Harmonie House 2.0 - is bringing a renewed sense of clarity, creativity, and excitement for the work ahead. At the core of it all, what hasn’t changed is this:

I’m here to help women-led businesses show up online with clarity and confidence through brand photography that actually works for their business. ✨

The thing about us is, we LOVE LOVE LOVE a new planner!! 😍😍😍 We’ve been LONG time fans of ’s planner, but for the last couple years we’ve gravitated more towards her
option.

Even though we are five days into the New Year, we couldn’t miss this opportunity to say HAPPY NEW PLANNER SEASON to all who celebrate! 💗🥂🎉

Good things are coming in 2026!!
