Rarely get to do family photos at the beach, but had a nice opportunity at Virginia Beach this summer. Took these few shots just as some major thunderstorm clouds were moving in, and had to run back in the rain. Gotta do what you gotta do to get the shot!

Hi I'm Roman, the face behind the camera at Charlotte Family Portraits. Once upon a time I used to be a wedding photographer. Since then I've decided to take back my weekends.

However I've missed the giggles and overall cuteness of the families and kids I've photographed over the years, so I've decided to once again chase after the creative things that make me smile.

I hope to use my silly "expertise" to capture a few of those priceless smiles so that families can treasure them for years to come.
