🌸 Pink Sweetheart Set

Retiring my first camera feels a little like closing a chapter of my life. This tiny Canon Rebel carried me through six years of magic. This camera journeyed with me through so many monumental moments. From my first shoot, to my first wedding, and all the nerve-racking sessions where I somehow managed to produce something real, my camera has guided me.

She was with me before I knew my style, before I knew my worth, before I believed I could turn this into a career. She caught shaky-handed beginnings, soft golden hours, strangers who trusted me anyway, and those little moments where I’d look at the back of the screen and think, “maybe I really do have an eye for this.”

She’s been bumped, dropped, rained on, swung through fields, tossed in the car for last-minute shoots, and still never failed me. She helped me find my voice, my confidence, and my love for storytelling.

I’m upgrading my gear this week and stepping into a new chapter with sharper tools and bigger dreams… but it didn’t feel right to move forward without honoring where I started. So here are a few of my favorite memories my little T7 and I made together.

Casting Call — Fairytale Princess Photoshoot (Lansing/Charlotte Area)
I’m planning a dreamy, whimsical princess photoshoot featuring a floral swing hanging from a winter tree.
I’m looking for a model who embodies soft, magical energy — ethereal, delicate, storybook vibes.

✨ Model Requirements:
• Petite frame preferred (to match the gown silhouette)
• Long blonde or red hair (soft curls look best in winter light)
• Comfortable posing in cold temperatures with breaks
• Expressive, fairytale energy

✨ Wardrobe:
Do you happen to own any pastel gowns?
Lavender, periwinkle, blush, champagne, baby blue, or soft white — especially anything with tulle, sparkle, or princess-like volume.

Prom gowns, bridesmaid dresses, cosplay pieces, and fairytale dresses are all perfect.

If you have pastel gowns, please send photos!
(We can also add ribbons, florals, and tulle to enhance the look.)

✨ The Concept:
Imagine:
A dreamy pastel gown, floral swing ropes, soft winter backdrop, gentle movement, and a quiet storybook mood.
This shoot is inspired by the 8-year-old version of what a princess should be — magical, soft, hopeful, and brave.

✨ Compensation:
TFP (trade for photos) — you’ll receive fully edited images for your portfolio.

✨ Location:
Likely Bennett Park or another beautiful natural location with a strong tree for the swing.

They’re here!
My holiday gift cards just arrived and I’m honestly so in love with how they turned out. I wanted them to feel warm, simple, and real — something you can tuck into a stocking or gift to someone you love most.

Each card is $55 (a holiday discount from my regular $75 minis), and includes a 30-minute outdoor session, up to six people, and a minimum of ten edited images.
They’re good all the way through September 1, 2026, so there’s plenty of time to use them.

As a teenager I had an interest in photography. I vividly remember taking photos of my younger cousins in the front lawn of my grandfather’s country house with a polaroid camera. I was mesmerized by the idea of taking a specific moment and turning it to stone. Well, maybe I couldn’t turn it to stone, but I could at least make it tangible. As I became a young woman and mother photos became even more cherished. I recognized my inability to afford quality photos of my children at each of their, ever so fleeting, milestones. At that point it dawned on me. My love for romanticizing human nature could become something more than just cell phone photos of a smiley babe covered in bubbles sitting in the sink. I could help other families obtain special moments, without breaking the bank. My mission in life has become to assure all families have the ability to look back at their precious memories, Forever In The Day.
