The result? A beautiful cinnamon color.

Jamie has more to share about the majestic Red Maple in this video.

Ever wonder why professionally shot and edited video really does look better than iPhone or ENG (news) footage?

There’s an extra, time-consuming step we take that really makes the footage stand out: color grading.

High-end video cameras shoot RAW footage, which refers to the camera sensor’s raw output. The RAW footage we shoot, specifically Blackmagic RAW, records all of the camera settings as metadata. Without getting too technical, this allows us to adjust exposure and color data during post-production.

By not baking all of this information into the footage and leaving the recorded frame "RAW," we have much more flexibility during the color-grading process, often drastically changing the look and feel of the final product.

Nobody said “film crew” meant staying in the studio.

Andrew and Makena strapped on their boots and hiked up Spencer Mountain, all for that beautiful Charlotte skyline shot from the summit.

Was it worth the trek? Obviously. Would we do it again? Already checking the trail map.

A big thank you to Catawba Lands Conservancy for making this hike such a fun one!

Our phones make us think all the world economic news is lousy! Think about it.. you glance at the latest headlines and usually they're the bad ones. That's the word from Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond President Tom Barkin, who says our economy is actually pretty healthy right now. Barkin was interviewed Dr. Kandi Deitemeyer at the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance Investor meeting.

We dive deep into North Carolina Outward Bound School with our documentary group, Ahujadaddy Partners.
