Filled with gratitude for this current season of life. Is it always easy being a full-time mom while also being a full-time business owner (of two businesses now!)? Absolutely not. But what I’m coming to find is no matter where I find myself in work or in life, is that I’m learning to grow and be resilient. I’m stepping into my power and finding peace and joy no matter what comes my way.
Being a small business owner, especially in a creative field right now, is not for the faint of heart. Sometimes it’s exciting, fast-paced photoshoot days. Sometimes it’s gritty, hard work doing post-production. Sometimes it’s crickets from clients. And you know what? It’s all a gift.
The expansion I’ve gotten to do mentally, emotionally, physically and, yes, even spiritually, fills me to the brim. I am so thankful for all the opportunities this career has given me, for all the people I’ve come to know and call friend, and for the ability to learn about who I am and what I’m capable of.
Even though the actual 10 year anniversary of Easterday Creative was back in March, I ask you to celebrate with me today as I call in overflowing abundance for EC, for my family and friends, and for all of you who have continually supported me on this journey!
