Do you like surprises? What about the fact that as a photographer, other than my trusty camera and an SD card, my job also requires a client management system to function properly! I’ve got a life hack coming your way! Ready for it? Just like our phones and computers need to be turned off and updated every once in a while, so do WE! That’s right, sometimes the best way to stay fresh is by unplugging! I’m taking my own advice by putting my phone down and stepping outside for some fresh air. How about you? Pop quiz! Which of these options most describes you? A. Introvert, B. Extrovert, or C. A little bit of both? Personally, I'm about 90% introvert and 10% extrovert. I’ve always known I was destined to be in the a creative industry and now I get to people watch behind the lense, and I truly believe that my personality is the perfect match for life as a photographer. Solitude is what gives me the most creativity, but capturing moments gives me life, further solidifying the fact that I’m right where I’m meant to be. What’s your soundtrack today? I love a little of everything, specifically Adele , Jazmine Sullivan and even a little Chris Stapleton (Tennessee Whiskey). But recently, I’ve been listening to the Encanto soundtrack and I’m obsessed with the song We don't talk about Bruno. I could have it on repeat all day and not get sick of it! No matter what it is, I love listening to music when I edit galleries for my clients. It just puts me in the zone! So how about you: what’s your soundtrack these days? Bonus points if you name specific artists and songs… I’m looking for new tunes to add to my playlist!

Can I bring up something a little controversial? I want to chat about boundaries. So often they get a bad rap, and if I’m honest, I have often responded to inquiries or emails when I should be sleeping. But no one can be at their best without putting some real, solid effort into drawing a few lines. What do you need to say ‘no’ to, to thrive even more? I want to encourage you to do it!

What’s been inspiring you recently? I’ve been getting a lot of creative ideas from pinterest and I’d love to share them with you. Recently, I’ve been dreaming up plans for my home office and what I’m most excited about is the accent wall that I will be hand stenciling, yes, I said it, by hand. If I’m being honest, I was terrified when I started my business a few years ago. But I knew that there were so many possibilities waiting for me outside of my comfort zone, so I went for it! I’m so glad I did, because I’ve been able to serve amazing people like , who said this about my business: “Oseye was professional and detailed. Physical planner or virtual planner...which do you prefer? I plan out my schedule each week physically and write out 3 of my top priorities for each day. There is nothing better than crossing off a task. I’m curious if a majority of you guys use the same method as I do, if so drop your preference in the comments!
