We always tell our couples - “You can’t surprise us…we’ve seen it all over the years!” Apparently Alex took that as a challenge, because just a few days before his wedding to Brianna, he was bitten twice by a copperhead on his foot!!! He was an absolute trooper putting up with all the ins and outs of a typical wedding day, walking unassisted when he could and using a cane and wheeled scooter for extra help to relieve the load on his still-swollen foot. Pro tip for other photographers if you’re ever in this situation - use tall grass to hide the medical boot during couples portraits!!
