I made it one full calendar year of being a full time photographer and got 💕 PUBLISHED by for their 2022 Charlotte Book! Not only did I have the opportunity to capture photos of 14 other boss women in the city for the book, but I was able to get featured with a photo I took of myself too! Big thanks to , and for making this happen and for all your help through the process! Y’all are a blessing!!

Also want to shoutout my best friend for coming out in the freezing cold to get a few shots of me too! 🙌🏽😂 I didn’t feel like editing the last 6, but I think they still turned out great lol

This has been such a humbling experience for me. I'm typically one to harbor my emotions and stressors, and having no choice but to ask for help was not easy. I was reminded many times over the last few days that God has blessed me with a village - a support system that truly cares about me. I've learned that if I just humble myself and ask for/accept help, it will come. I have cried so many times throughout this process, not out of fear or worry, but out of shock and gratefulness. So many amazing people, ones that I haven't seen since I was a child and ones that I just met this year, shared this and gave to me.

A huge thanks to the 200+ people who shared, the 5 photographers who offered to lend me their gear, and the 50+ people who donated, I now have enough to purchase a new camera & flash... in TWO DAYS y'all! 😭❤️ Btw this doesn't even include donations I've received outside of gofundme! God took what felt like a nightmare and turned it into what feels like a dream and I still can't believe it's real. Thank you thank you thank you!!

Additional funds will be used to repair my old camera to have as a back up and business/gear insurance so I can prevent this from happening again! I love y'all so much and I'm praying God returns what y'all gave x10! ❤️

Lately I've been finding peace in the in betweens. The simple things I used to speed past seem so beautiful to me. Like abandoned houses and their history. I realize now I've taken those things for granted. Here's a gentle reminder to slow down and soak up your surroundings. 🌻
