Most of the time you hear about the little boy and his dog, movies of boys chasing hounds, and the dog who traveled the country to get back to his boy.

This however is my favorite, the story of the little wild curly haired girl who grew up with a coonhound. Chasing the stars together, winning ribbons, sharing a blanket on the couch, and beaming the meaning of a beautiful friendship. It’s the story with no real end, because no matter where the two girls end up, their
bond and hearts will never truly separate.
