He came for the family photos because you asked him to.
He was NOT expecting to actually have fun. 😂

But somewhere between playing with the kids, a few bad jokes, and forgetting he was supposed to be “posing,” it stopped feeling like a photo session and started feeling like family time.

That’s always my goal. Come as you are, love on your people, and let me take care of the photos.

Your senior portraits should absolutely be about YOU, but that doesn't mean you have to be the only person in front of the camera. 🤍

Adding a few family photos at the end of your senior session is an easy way to update your family portraits while everyone is already dressed, together, and celebrating a pretty big milestone.

We can keep it simple with parent-and-senior portraits, siblings, a full family photo, or even grandparents if they're available.

And parents, if your first thought is, “I don't really want to be in the pictures,” I hear you. You don't need a whole session focused on you. Just step in for a few.

Those might end up being some of the photos you're most grateful to have later.

As a Richmond senior photographer, I love that senior sessions can celebrate not only the senior, but also the people who've been cheering them on along the way.

Bring a few easy, mess-free favorites, some wipes, and an extra layer in case it gets chilly. And if someone needs a snack break? We take a snack break.
