What a fitting way to close out my spring wedding season - surrounded by romantic florals, lush greenery, and the warmth of faith and family (...and the literal warmth of almost summer in Virginia 😂) . Congratulations again to our sweet couple, A&O!
The Atrium at Meadowlark is the perfect venue daytime events like this Nikkah ceremony. We enjoyed beautiful light all day long while staying cool in the AC, while also easily enjoying beautiful garden views a few steps away.
As I look back on this season, I'm in awe of how many different types of cultural traditions my team and I have been a part of. Our year has already included Catholic mass, Vietnamese tea ceremony, Jewish hora, Bengladeshi mehndi, Muslim Nikkahs, many modern American traditions, and more.
I'm grateful for the trust of all of my couples to capture such a broad range of traditions. I'm reminded of why I'm so passionate about inclusivity and cultural knowledge - because all couples deserve their celebrations with respect and authenticity as much as joy and beauty.
