Our first visit to Robin’s Nature Center at Maymont 🌊🌿
It’s such a sweet little spot — complete with a massive indoor climbing net that my kids absolutely loved.
To make it educational (because homeschool mom 😅), I looked up the animals ahead of time and created a simple scavenger hunt in Eliana’s school journal. She had to find each animal, trace its name, and draw a picture of it.
It turned into the sweetest little lesson — practicing spelling, reading, handwriting, art, and observation without it feeling forced at all. And of course, the reward for finishing? Free play on that giant climbing net.
Hands-on learning for the win. 🙌🏻

Painted to be held and cherished 🩵

We’re reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe together, and my 5-year-old—who loves art—has been soaking it all in.
𓍙
As a way to reinforce what we’re reading, I wanted to pair the story with simple, hands-on crafts.
𓍙
First up: this little Narnia-inspired lantern 🕯️✨
She loved coloring her lantern sticks and gluing everything together. I helped with cutting the shapes and made sure she didn’t burn herself with the hot glue, but after I showed her one, she did most of it all on her own.
𓍙
Such a sweet way to combine literature, creativity, and quality time—perfect for homeschool or story-led learning days.
𓍙
Supplies you’ll need:
• Scissors
• Hot glue or regular glue
• Paper (black and yellow—or white to color!)
• Popsicle sticks
• Markers or crayons

How do I put twelve years into words? It feels impossible to capture all the ways we’ve grown—together, individually, and as a family. We’ve walked hard and narrow roads, yet at the center of it all has always been Christ. He is our guiding star, the steady light that has carried us through.
Through joy and peace, through trauma, grief, confusion, and everything in between—there is no one I am more grateful to do life with than you, Nick. I love you deeply, and I am thankful for every mountaintop and every valley I get to walk beside you.
We blinked, and suddenly here we are—twelve years later. Happy 12 years. Here’s to many, many more. 🤍

I came across this audio and it felt fitting for the beginning of the year—a gentle, humble reminder that the time we’re given is precious.
We aren’t promised next year, or even tomorrow.
Make each moment count. Show up every day. Put Jesus first. Love your family fiercely. Be present for your friends. Do your best… and trust God with the rest.

This year feels like a clear call from God to shift and trust.
𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊
With young kids, homeschooling, a calling to lean more in to my co-op, and creating from home, I’m choosing to keep my availability intentionally limited in this season.
𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊
I’ll be offering just a couple of sessions each month so I can continue creating work that feels thoughtful, unrushed, and true to the heart behind it.
𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊
If you’re hoping to work together this year, I’d love for you to reach out now (even if you’re thinking ahead to fall), or keep an eye out for session announcements.
Thank you for supporting a slower, more present way of creating—and for supporting my family and the calling God has placed on our lives 🤍
